Brian Hilson is an award-winning Dallas, Texas photographer who first picked up a camera 15 years ago. Coming from a strong background in an assortment of art forms, photography came naturally. Armed with the belief that perfection is unattainable, every project is given a fresh perspective instead of applying a formula. It is this attention to detail and commitment to excellence that drives his work.

Most recently his personal work has been influenced by Hiroshi Nonami, Dave McKean, and Atsushi Tani. "I love shooting an image of something like a plate with quiche and a side salad. It makes the viewer hungry and the chef happy.  But there is something truly magical about trying to show someone an abstract idea or twist on reality. It gets even better when the attempt works.

Brian's work can be found at Mercy Wine Bar in Addison, Texas, the distribution center of Goodwill Industries Dallas, Tei Tei Robata Bar, and a number of other places.  Feel free to send an email asking for a complete listing of credits.

Whether it's an eight person team shooting a plate of broccoli, a headshot to celebrate a promotion, or a one-on-one portrait session, capturing something special is what Brian Hilson does. Combining his experience and attention to detail with an unlimited supply of creativity, the clients' goals are met consistently.
